Your support makes all the difference.The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has developed an online series of special programs leading up to the Golden Globes, including live chats, webcasts and daily updates counting down to Sunday's event. The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards televises live January 17, at 8 pm ET and 5 pm PT.
In partnership with NBC Television and Dick Clark Productions, the Globes will join other media outlets in providing coverage of the gala and its preparations. With the advantage of easy access to talent, it will make preview programming available digitally by streaming on NBC.com, Facebook.com/Celebs, and Ustream through a downloadable widget (www.nbc.com/goldenglobesallaccess and http://dickclark.com/globes).
The shows include:
January 15, "One-on-One with Ricky Gervais," spotlights the comedian host discussing the Globes. Viewers' questions can be submitted through Facebook updates and Ustream's social stream, the webcasting platform (www.ustream.tv).
January 16, "Golden Globes Live! The Day Before," features Ricky Gervais host and show business experts commenting on award predictions, preparations and interviews with celebrities and producers.
January 17, "Golden Globes Red Carpet Live!" and "Golden Globes Live! All Access Pass" provide a first-hand look at red carpet entrances, backstage and press room access, covering fashion, celebrity interviews and acceptance speeches, expert commentary, and after-party updates.
There will also be a free iPhone application for consumers to track Golden Globe updates from mobile phones. Updates will also appear on Digg.com and Mashable.com.
