Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Take a bitesize chunk out of Resident Evil 6 as the demo finally becomes available… for Xbox 360 owners of Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma at least.
The demo features three different missions, with distinct gameplay experiences, as each mission features a unique location and different protagonist and as the lead.
First of all play as Leon S. Kennedy alongside Helena Harper and explore the dark confines of the Ivy University campus as you vie with the the undead that fill its hallways; next up is Chris Redfield’s mission to China for an intense encounter against the deadly J’avo engineered organism; while the action finally switches to the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia as Jake Muller and Sherry Berkin try to escape the relentless pursuit of the Ustanak, a brand new bio-organic weapon.
For those of us without Dragon’s Dogma (or indeed an Xbox 360) the wait for a demo continues – though the wait surely won’t be too long with the game set to be available globally on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 from 2nd October 2012 with a PC version to follow.
