Gasp at the graphical flair which punctuates every animation, marvel at the sense of size and scale that dizzies the senses and admire character models that gleam as if cast by the gods themselves. Rather apt considering the game’s storyline, a continuation of Kratos’s epic struggle for vengeance against Zeus. Kratos’s vengeance is glorious to behold as he cleaves, tears and rends through Greek mythology’s miscellany of gods and monsters. GoW2 is nothing revolutionary gameplay-wise, but it’s still a perfectly delivered masterwork.
