Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Extreme racing games don’t always have the best reputation – and this stunt-filled quad bike racer won’t go down as a classic – but it’s a blast to play. You race around 30 tracks in a variety of exotic locations – including an active volcano – sometimes in a straight dash to the line, sometimes attempting to rack up the most point through tricks.
With the latter aspect of the game, Pure takes the non-realistic approach of the Tony Hawks skateboarding series: some of the stunts you do are possible in real life, but a signification proportion are rather silly. However, this just adds to the fast-paced fun the game provides, especially when you launch yourself off some of the massive jumps.
It isn’t the hardest game to play, but this just means it’s easy to pick up. Yes, if you’re a fan of hardcore racing simulations, this isn't the game for you. But if you want furious action in beautiful surrounds, Pure will leave you breathless.
