Rumours have been circulating for a while that the next instalment in the hit first-person shooter franchise would be set during the Cold War.
Two images taken from promotional material printed on packets of Doritos - which have not been verified by developers Activision - appear to confirm that the game will be called Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.
The leaked images were widely shared on social media, with most people agreeing that the pictures seemed to be legitimate.
Other than the logo and title for the game, the leak doesn't disclose much about the game's content, however.
It does specify that the promotion will run from 5 October until 31 October, which would suggest that Cold War could be hitting shelves during that window.
Activision release a new Call of Duty game roughly once a year. Last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released on 25 October.
The original Call of Duty: Black Ops, a spin-off from the central Call of Duty series, was released back in 2010. Black Ops was also set during the Cold War, and saw players control a CIA operative in the 1960s.
Subsequent Black Ops games have been set in different time periods, including the 1980s and decades into the future.
Details of forthcoming game releases have been leaked via promotional merchandise in the past. In 2017, for instance, a promotional t-shirt was used to leak details of the Ubisoft game Assassin's Creed Origins.
