London-based jewellery brand Missoma has become a go-to for many thanks to its affordable yet high-quality pieces. Founded in 2008, it quickly reached cult status and has amassed a star-studded following including the likes of Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

Two of its most famous fans are the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex, who have both been frequently seen wearing pieces from the brand’s collection during official royal engagements.

Most recently, Kate wore a pair of pink rhodochrosite gold charm hoop earrings on a video call while Meghan has previously been spotted wearing the brand’s golden open heart signet ring on multiple occasions.

Owing to Missoma’s popularity, when it launched its new collection for spring, key pieces instantly sold out. Case in point are the chubby hoop earrings that sent the internet wild, with everyone on Instagram seemingly obsessed.

Hoops have long been an essential among the fashion pack and it seems that they’re not going anywhere. But, for this season, they’ve evolved a little further and have entered into the oversized and chunky realm.

Tapping into the trend, Missoma’s hoops come in either gold or silver and are, as the name suggests, a chunky, rounded shape.

With two size options – mini for an everyday, understated look, or medium for something a little more bold – whichever one you choose, we’re sure you’ll be obsessed with them.

After selling out twice before, these are like gold dust, so if you want to get your hands on them, we’d recommend doing so fast. In honour of all things on-trend and royal-approved, here’s everything you need to know about the hoops making the rounds on social media.
