But skincare and make-up aren’t the only items receiving praise – haircare tools are also making waves. Case in point is the flurry of excitement that emerged when TikTok discovered the joy of Revlon’s one step hair dryer and volumiser hot air brush.
The tool is essentially a hairbrush and hairdryer in one that allows you to create effortless loose waves and add instant volume, prompting locks that resemble Rachel Green’s famous Nineties ’do.
What’s more, when you scroll through the hashtag #revlonhairdryerbrush, which has 83.4 million views on TikTok, it becomes immediately obvious that it works on a variety of hair types.
One user filmed herself using the Revlon volumizer to create a soft, bouncy blow-dry look, with the caption reading “I’m fuming I didn’t get it earlier”. So far, the video has amassed 1.1 million likes and more than 8,400 comments.
And if you’re not sold yet, just take a look on Amazon where there are more than 11,000 reviews, with 80 per cent of them awarding it five stars and shoppers claiming it’s “super easy to use” while heralding it as a “gamechanger”. Owing to its popularity it is currently out of stock on the retailer’s website, but fear not because we’ve spotted it in stock elsewhere.
