Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Don’t get us wrong, when Easter Sunday arrives on 4 April, we’ll be sitting on the sofa scoffing down novelty chocolate all day. But this year we’ll also be unwrapping an egg of a different kind.

Much like beauty Christmas crackers and advent calendars, beauty Easter eggs have become popular, filled with minis or full-size skincare and make-up products to enjoy. They’re the perfect gift for someone special, or youself, who’s not that fussed on chocolate.

Filled with goodies, from cult favourites in the beauty sphere to new finds from smaller, independent brands, it’s the perfect way to top-up your routine and try products you may be new to.

For the fifth year in a row, beauty retailer lookfantastic has launched a beauty egg packed with high-end luxury brands such as Elemis and Eve Lom. The contents are worth £230, but it can all be yours for just £65.

We've got all the details on what’s inside, when it launches and how to get your hands on it. But that’s not all.

It’s not the only beauty Easter egg available this year, with other cosmetics brands getting in on the action. So we’ve rounded up all the others available to shop now as well.

You can trust our independent round-ups. We may earn commission from some of the retailers, but we never allow this to influence selections. This revenue helps us to fund journalism across The Independent.
