Grow them in large and heavy pots for stability, in sunny and warm spots, and feed and water well from June to August when they grow quickly. Borderline hardy, so in late Autumn, allow leaves to die back and cut stem to 20cm tall, and bring somewhere frost-free until the following May. Keep dry, and new leaves should quickly emerge next year.
Specimen pictured is more mature than those supplied. Please note that this is a dramatic ornamental plant but does not produce fruit in the UK climate.
