Niki Cottrell

Niki Cottrell joined the eCommerce team in 2022 as a social media assistant. She creates content for the IndyBest social media accounts and also writes about health and wellness. Before joining The Independent, she worked as a social media and community manager for an EdTech startup, helping with their launch into the US market, as well as various freelance roles within social media and content creation. She has additional experience as an audience development specialist for Archant and Newsquest in the local news division, building digital strategies and contributing to their social media accounts.
