The two mummified fingers were found in a pile of wallpaper in a house scheduled for demolition. They were given to the police who tracked down their previous owner.
Bad Day for alligators, with the refusal of the Governor of Hawaii to ban alligator wrestling. Opponents of the show, in which a trainer wrestles a 300lb alligator, say it "places the people of Honolulu in physical and financial jeopardy." The state agriculture department says proper procedures have been followed.
