Most recent addition to the list is Mark Monero (Steve) who is to be written out of the series this summer; his exit announcement follows that of another black actor - Steven Woodcock (Clyde) - and Peter Dean (Pete Beale). Other EastEnders news of the week concerned Michelle Gayle (Hattie) who revealed she had a miserable childhood because of her unusually large breasts.
The stars of Beverly Hills 90210 have also been headline- makers, Shannen Doherty because she faces eviction from her Hollywood home for not paying her rent, Tori Spelling because she spends pounds 7,000 a month on clothes and has a computer to keep tabs on where and when she last wore what.
