The Late Late Show host James Corden was clearly feeling on the confident side when he brought on not one, but two challengers for his "Drop the Mic" bit; bringing out both Suicide Squad's Cara Delevingne and Now You See Me 2's Dave Franco for a rap battle of epic proportions.
Delvingne seemed totally unflappable as Corden started, "You're perfect for Suicide Squad/ I'm being heartfelt/ 'Cause when I see you try to act it makes me want to kill myself." Delivering her own comeback with, "I can see it now/ the headlines above me/ Cara Delvingne: the woman who saved late night TV."
Yet, it was Franco who really took the whole thing in his stride, though he was delivered some pretty brutal burns about his superstar brother, James.
"Dave Franco, thank your agent for giving you this bit/ we can all agree you're not famous enough for it," Corden rapped "I'm pretty sure we actually meant to book your brother." Before later adding, "He's Marky Mark/ You're Donnie Wahlberg."
But then, Franco came in strong once he finally got his hands on the mic. "'Cause you think that your an actor in movies right now?/ Trying to hide an accent thicker than your eyebrows" he lambasted Delevingne with. "You're not a household name/ because no one can f**king spell it."
Before moving onto Corden, "James, your show ends at 1.30 every week/ so hello to the pets whose owners fell asleep" he rapped. "You're a less talented, much fatter Mr. Bean."
Sure, Delevingne may have taken the audience vote, but Franco's the real winner here. Right?
