The Walking Dead season seven continued last night (5 March) with a slower-paced episode that provided several hints at what's to come in the final four episodes.

One such moment occurred in the episode's final scene during a tense interaction between two of the series' strongest female characters - Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) - both of whom are prepared to turn their grief over the death of Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) - as well as the former's guilt over the imprisonment of Eugene - into vengeance against The Saviours' leader, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

Sadly, it seems they're both willing - and fully expecting - to die for the cause.

Throughout the episode, Rosita can be seen attempting to find weaponry on her own volition but to no avail. By the end of the episode, however, she's managed to acquire a sniper rifle - something she immediately takes to her former rival turned ally at the Hilltop Colony.

Rosita tells Sasha how she's fed up with Rick's insistence that they wait to build up an army. Instead, she wants Sasha to help her to assassinate Negan from the inside. Sasha tells Rosita: “I'm ready to kill him. But I need to make sure you know what this means - they can't catch us alive.”

Rosita is on the same page, replying: “It's a one-way ticket for both of us.”

How this will go down will likely be something that'll be tackled in the season finale, airing 2 April. Will one of them perish? Or will both of them go? Could it be the very person Rosita's trying to save - Negan's new sidekick, Eugene (Josh McDermitt) - to thwart their attempts?

Many fans are assuming that Sasha is the most likely candidate to get killed considering actor Sonequa Martin-Green has been cast as the lead in new TV series Star Trek Discovery.
