Your support makes all the difference.BBC One have released a teaser image of their upcoming adaption of JK Rowling’s novel The Casual Vacancy.
The teaser shows characters Shirely and Samantha Mollinson, played by Julia McKensie and Keeley Hawes, appearing to have some kind of disagreement.
The TV show, which is being co-produced by US cable network HBO, is set to appear on our screens next year, and will run for three episodes.
Rowling’s novel, first published in 2012, centres around a seemingly bucolic English country village where pleasant appearances hide simmering tensions and rivalries.
The book received lukewarm reviews when first published, but despite this has gone on to sell around six million copies.
The series has gathered an all-star cats, which as well as McKensie and Hawes, includes: Michael Gambon (Harry Potter), Rufus Jones (W1A), Rory Kinnear (Penny Dreadful), Keeley Forsyth (Coronation Street), Abigail Lawrie, Monica Dolan (Sightseers), Simon McBurney (Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy), Richard Glover (A Field In England), Marie Critchley (In The Flesh) and Michelle Austin (Secrets & Lies).
