“It’s day 4 of ’S***hole Gate,’” Colbert remarked. “I’m confident that’s going to be bleeped because CBS has higher standards than the president.”
The comedian pointed to Trump’s alleged remarks concerning Haiti and various African countries where the President called them “s***hole” countries.
Colbert pointed to articles claiming Trump had “called friends to brag” about the comments, the host adding: “He’s like a toddler calling his mum to the potty, ‘come look at the load I dropped into the national discourse.’”
Trump later denied using that exact language but acknowledged using “tough” words.
“He’s like the racist Rumpelstiltskin,” Colbert joked, sinisterly saying back: “Unless ye guess my racist speech, the president ye shall not impeach.” Watch below.
Colbert was one of many late-night comedians to mock Trump over the comments, saying on Monday: “Sir, they are not s***hole countries. For one, Donald Trump is not their president.”
