Stephen Colbert got Donald Trump a Christmas gift: Tiny handcuffs
'I just hope they're not too big on you'

Stephen Colbert has been a constant critic of Donald Trump, offering scathing critiques of the President’s behaviour on a regular basis.
During a monologue on the Late Show, the host joked about the ongoing Robert Mueller investigation and implying Trump could be locked up.
"Well, it feels like Christmas is here," Colbert said. "Courtesy of Robert Mueller coming down the White House chimney with a sack full of subpoenas.
"Mr. President, I got you a gift, too. I just hope they're not too big on you.” He then brought out a pair of tiny handcuffs, to which the studio audience cheered.
Colbert then gave a brief explanation regarding the ongoing investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. The biggest piece of recent news to emerge has been Michael Flynn — the former national security advisor — admitting to lying to the FBI.
Discussing Flynn’s agreeing to cooperate with authorities in the future, Colbert said the former aide will be "singing like a canary.”
"Well, actually," Colbert, added, "More like an angry, shaved eagle.” Watch the full seven-minute monologue below.
Meanwhile, Colbert recently spoke about Trump’s Tweets regarding the UK, jokingly asking Britain to “take back” the US.
