This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

Stormy Daniels showed up for the latest opening to Saturday Night Live which was a star-studded affair filled with numerous A-list figures assembling to poke fun at US politics.

Ben Stiller spearheaded the cold open as lawyer Michael Cohen who proceeded to call his client Donald Trump - played as ever by Alec Baldwin - in concern over claims of collusion.

Cheers erupted as Avengers: Infinity War star Scarlett Johansson and Jimmy Fallon showed up as Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner before adult film star Daniels herself appeared.

“What do you need for this to all go away?” Baldwin's Trump asks her to which she replies: “A resignation.”

Baldwin's Trump asks her to stop making a big deal stating, "Everyone knows it's just an act" to which Daniels responded coolly: "I work in adult films; we're not really known for our acting."

She ended the skit with a warning to the US president: “I know you don't believe in climate change, but a storm's a-coming, baby.”

Other stars to appear included Martin Short who played Dr Harold Bornstein, Kate McKinnon as adviser Rudy Giuliani and Leslie Jones as Trump's former political aide Omarosa.
