Your support makes all the difference.Sharon Osbourne has responded to claims she played a part in the firing of original The Talk host Holly Robinson Peete.
On Saturday (13 March), Peete alleged that her former co-host “complained that [she] was too ‘ghetto’” for the show and claims that this is one of the reasons why she was let go.
“I’m old enough to remember when Sharon complained that I was too ‘ghetto’ for #theTalk…then I was gone,” she tweeted. “I bring this up now bc I was mortified watching the disrespectful condescending tone she took w/ her co host who remained respectful because…she HAD TO.”
Peete added: “I LOVED being on The Talk … but sometimes awesome gifts come in humiliating packages.”

Osbourne swiftly responded to Peete’s claim, writing on Twitter: “In response to Holly Robinson Peete’s accusation of me getting her fired fromThe Talk, I am sharing an e-mail sent to me from Holly one month after she was let go by CBS.”
The email, dated 19 September 2011, doesn’t show any bad blood between the pair and hints that other factors possibly contributed to Peete’s firing.
Osbourne didn’t directly comment on the allegations that she described Peete as “too ghetto” for the show.
Earlier this week, Osbourne issued an apology after a controversial discussion about racism on The Talk while voicing her support for Piers Morgan.
Morgan announced his departure from Good Morning Britain after criticism over his remarks about Meghan Markle.
On The Talk, Osbourne became defensive, raising her voice at co-host Sheryl Underwood and saying: “I will ask you again Sheryl... and don’t try and cry because if anyone should be crying, it should be me… You tell me where you have heard him say racist things.”
In a lengthy post shared on Twitter on Friday (12 March) morning, Osbourne said that she’d been “reflecting” on the incident and wanted to apologise to any Black viewers she had offended.
A CBS spokesperson has confirmed that an internal investigation is taking place, looking into the incident.
