From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Sacha Baron Cohen has performed a sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in which he sells black market Covid vaccines to celebrities, from Bono to Kanye West.

The interview begins with Cohen earnestly promoting Borat 2, but he is soon interrupted by one of his many burner phones ringing on his desk.

“Bono? Oh hey man, what’s up?” he says into the phone. “Yeah, I’ve got AstraZeneca, Pfizer, what do you want? Yeah, Venmo is fine.”

Other stars that Cohen pretends to receive a call from include Tom Cruise, who Cohen jokes is “old enough to get it legally”. Then taking a call from Kanye West, Cohen replies: “Yo, yo, yo, I can get you Johnson & Johnson. No, not Dakota and Don.”

Referencing West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian, with whom the rapper has four children, Cohen adds: “What do you mean you only need one now? I’ve got you down for six... Oh, sorry, I hadn’t heard.”

He ends the call with: “And don’t drive for six hours. If only Tiger had listened to me.”

Last week, a car crash in California left Woods with serious injuries.

The sketch also features an appearance from Cohen’s wife Isla Fischer, and closes with Cohen getting busted by the LAPD.
