Steven Knight’s period drama, about a 1920s Birmingham gang who sew razor blades into the peaks of their flatcaps, will be available to stream on the US service from 31 May with a UK release date yet to be confirmed.
Deadline reports that from that day, US fans will be able to watch all six of the new episodes at once, which could potentially put UK fans at risk of spoilers for the final two.
Peaky Blinders stars Cillian Murphy in the lead as mob boss Tommy Shelby, with Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson and Sophie Rundle also in key roles. Tom Hardy returns as Camden Town gang leader Alfie Solomons, while Paddy Considine joins the cast as Tommy’s ominous new nemesis, Father Hughes.
Series three opens on Tommy’s wedding day as he marries a mystery bride (will it be Grace, May or another woman altogether?). Soon the Peaky Blinders become caught up in an international arms deal with global impact, leaving Tommy caught between business and family.
The first two series of Peaky Blinders are already on Netflix for anyone yet to catch up before jumping on the bandwagon.
