Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

What’s the greatest Netflix show of all time? It’s a big question, and one with a lot of possible answers.

Since the subscription service launched original programming in 2013, it hasn’t held back. Lots of shows have come and gone since (some far before their time), with many becoming cultural phenomenons and others generating cult fanbases.

While we ourselves have had a go at highlighting the best on offer, we think it’s time to compile a list based on what you think.

You can either use our full list for inspiration, or feast your eyes on the below to rejig your memory.

Black Mirror, BoJack Horseman, Cobra Kai, The Crown, Dark, Emily in Paris, Glow, The Haunting of Hill House, Love, Making a Murderer, Master of None, Mindhunter, Money Heist, Narcos, The OA, Orange is the New Black, Ozark, The Queen’s Gambit, Queer Eye, Russian Doll, Sex Education, Stranger Things, Tiger King, Top Boy, When They See Us.

All you have to do to share your answer is register to submit your question in the comments below.
