Game of Thrones fans aren’t too happy after Brie Larson took home the prize for Best Fight at this year’s MTV awards.

The actor won for her scene showing a battle between Carol Danvers (Larson) and Minn-Erva (Gemma Chan) in Captain Marvel – a prize that was voted for by the audience.

However, many were disappointed that Maisie Williams did not take home the award for her scene in the final season of Game of Thrones, where Arya Stark defeats the Night King and as a result the entire army of the dead.

During the dark and gritty battle at Winterfell, just as it seems as though the Night King is about to kill Bran in the Godswood, Arya comes out of nowhere and stabs the Night King with her Valyrian steel dagger. He shatters instantly, as do the rest of the White Walkers.

The scene was one of the biggest talking points of Game of Thrones, or indeed any TV show this year – to the point where even Williams’ co-stars were posting jubilant reactions about it on social media.
