Fans of The Masked Singer were delighted to see Daisy revealed as singer Kelis in the latest episode of the show.

It had been widely speculated that the R&B star was the one behind the daisy costume, with judge Rita Ora eventually making the correct guess.

“People have just been telling me my voice was distinct,” Kelis said after the un-masking. “I thought I would give it a go.”

Ora called Kelis “one of the most important artists when I was growing up”.

A number of clues had been dropped through the show, including the biggest giveaway – that Daisy had a background as a chef.

Kelis trained in France as a cordon-bleu chef during a break from music, and also released an album titled Food.

Fans are now trying to guess who the Monster is, with most seeming to think it could be CeeLo Green.

Queen Bee, meanwhile, has hinted she became famous as a child first, before going on to have a career in the public eye. Some have suggested she is Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts.

The Masked Singer continues next Saturday 1 February
