From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Tonight's instalment of Love Island looks set to rack up the drama following last night's revelations which saw the dissolution of Eyal and Megan as well as Wes and Laura.
Shockwaves were sent through the villa as Megan abandoned 'girl code' by making a move on Wes despite him being coupled up with Laura.
The trailer for this evening's episode sees Laura - who called time with Wes following a heated exchange - break down to friends Dani, Samira and Zara admitting she was “falling” for him.
Meanwhile, Wes tells Megan he wants to wipe the slate clean and act like it's his first day in the villa - something he puts into action that night when he puts a makeshift bed together for him and Megan outside to the shock of their fellow contestants.
This evening will also see one couple dumped from the villa meaning we'll see the departure of either Jack/Dani, Alex/Ellie, Adam/Zara, Sam/Samira, Josh/Georgia, Eyal/Megan or Wes/Laura.
Love Island continues nightly on ITV2
