At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The former Conservative minister is set to enter the Australian jungle as one of this year’s contestants alongside The X Factor’s Jake Quickenden, according to The Sun.
Currie, who famously had a four-year affair with former prime minister Sir John Major, is to join the show despite lashing out at Conservative MP Nadine Dorries two years ago for taking part.
She reportedly said at the time: “This programme is about ritual humiliation.
"You're doing 80 hour weeks as an MP. If you care about your constituents and regard being an MP as an important and privileged job you wouldn't do it."
She has previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and Wife Swap.
ITV has yet to confirm whether Currie and Quickenden will be entering the jungle as last-minute additions to the line-up tonight.
Should she enter, the 68-year-old will join veteran newsreader Michael Buerk, who has agreed to join this year's line-up despite previously describing BBC3’s reality TV output as “the embarrassing end of drivel”.
Currie, who was forced to resign from the cabinet in 1988 over a controversy about salmonella in eggs, will join TOWIE’S Gemma Collins, former Playboy star Kendra Wilkinson and Mobo award winning artist Tinchy Stryder.
I’m A Celebrity begins tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
