From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

That show where they get a load of B-List celebs, stick them in a jungle and get Ant and Dec to chat rubbish - you know, the one people won’t admit watching but actually do - well, it’s back, and it has an airdate.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! will start 15 November at 9 pm on ITV, as confirmed by the station's Twitter and Instagram accounts.

It’s all very, very exciting. But which celebrities will have cockroaches thrown at them this year?

According to Digital Spy, Union J’s Josh Cuthbert, former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis and the Cheeky Girls are rumoured to be on the show.

They also think ex-The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins and Strictly runner-up Denise Van Outen may appear on the show.

Last week an absolutely hilarious clip of the presenting duo was shown on ITV. Check it out below.

In case you forgot, Carl Fogarty won the competition last year. “Who?”, I hear you cry. Better known as Foggy, the 50-year-old was the most successful World Superbike racer of all time in terms of the number of championships and number of race wins.

The final of the Big Brother-esque TV show saw him eat a large cup of mealworms, two fried tarantulas, three live cockroaches, ostrich anus and a camel's penis. Expect similar stunts in the upcoming series.
