From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. The 26-year-old British actor revealed he is contracted to reveal some flesh after he signed a nudity clause before appearing on the show, and says he has no fears about doing so.
“I’m fine with nudity actually. I think it’s one of those things…you take off your robe and you are nude.
"And there’s a hundred people watching you and after the first 30 seconds, everyone’s seen everything. I'm quite happy to strut around naked after that.” the former War Horse stage star told the New York Daily News.
“I signed a nudity clause way back when, so I knew at some point it’s going to happen and I won’t spoil it for your readers for when it does.”
Aside from not having a body double, the actor also confirmed he doesn’t have much of stunt double, preferring to take on his character Jon Snow’s sword fights himself.
“We just adapted it so that all the people fighting me come to me, rather than me coming to them. It actually worked quite well. It really wasn’t too bad,” he said.
The third series of Game of Thrones continues Monday 8 April on Sky Atlantic.
