From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

For those of you who have resisted temptation and not already seen the latest Game of Thrones episode to have leaked, HBO has released some brand new images from the penultimate outing titled 'Beyond the Wall.'

As expected, the new episode will follow the expedition north of the wall led by Jon Snow to capture a White Walker in a bid to prove to Cersei Lannister that there are bigger things to worry about than the Iron Throne.

The photos show that the episode won't squarely focus on this crack team of individuals, including Jorah, Gendry and The Hound, with appearances from Sansa and Arya over at Winterfell (who will o doubt deal with the fallout of that Littlefinger-planted letter) as well as Tyrion and Daenerys, the latter of whom is equipped with an intriguing new outfit which may point to a huge plot revelation.

You can see the images for yourself below.

Game of Thrones airs in the US on HBO every Sunday where it is simulcast in the UK on Sky Atlantic at 2am. It is repeated that same evening on both Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
