At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference.Following in the footsteps of Colplay’s Will Champion, Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody, Sigur Rós and Mastodon comes another band to make a cameo on the hit HBO series Game of Thrones.
This time it will be "Little Talks" hitmakers Of Monsters and Men stepping into Westeros. Band members have been spotted on set in Girona, Spain, filming inside the Sant Pere de Gallivants monetary.
Watchers on the Wall made the find, linking the photos back to Toni Millán who has posted numerous shots from the filming.
The first photo shows singer Nanna Bryndis Hilmarsdóttir with guitarist Ragnar Þórhallsson outside the monastery, while a second shows drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson taking a rest from filming.
Of Monsters and Men are the second Icelandic band to appear on the show, with Sigur Rós previously appearing during Joffrey Baratheon’s infamous wedding.
Much like the show, the band’s music has often been inspired by other fantasy works, with Hilmarsdóttir telling EW their third album may even be Lord of the Rings themed.
They have also previously proclaimed their love for Game of Thrones, as have many other musicians. Notably, Coldplay created a music adaption for red nose day earlier this year.
According to previous reports, singer Ed Sheeran is also after a role in the show, apparently “hounding” HBO bosses about it.
"There were talks ages ago of me being an extra, which could have been cool. But every time they shoot it's the time I tour in the UK,” Sheeran told The Sun.
