Game of Thrones’ seventh season has come to a quick close, leaving many questions unanswered, including how Jon Snow and Dany will react when they found out they’re related.

Speaking to Variety, actor Isaac Hempstead Wright spoke about how Bran will handle telling Jon about being a Targaryen, concluding that Sam should probably handle everything.

Wright also talked about what was happening in Winterfell this season, particularly the events that unfolded regarding Sansa, Arya, and Littlefinger.

Many fans, myself included, were slightly baffled when the sisters went from threatening each other during the penultimate episode to suddenly teaming up. Was this their plan all along? Were they playing Littlefinger? Why would they have that conversation in a closed room then?

Turns out there was actually a deleted scene featuring Bran in which Sansa asked the all seeing Three-Eyed Raven for help.

We actually did a scene that clearly got cut, a short scene with Sansa where she knocks on Bran’s door and says, ‘I need your help,’ or something along those lines,” he told the publication.

“So basically, as far as I know, the story was that it suddenly occurred to Sansa that she had a huge CCTV department at her discretion and it might be a good idea to check with him first before she guts her own sister. So she goes to Bran, and Bran tells her everything she needs to know, and she’s like, ‘Oh, s—.’”

Well, that answers a few questions, like why Sansa changed her mind. However, what that doesn’t explain is why Arya was threatening to cut her sister’s face off. Arya does everything for family, so why threaten a family member? It all seemed a little strange and done merely so Sansa’s “How do you plead, Lord Baelish” was a surprise. Well, that’s my two cents on what happened.

Meanwhile, Peter Dinklage has spoken about Tyrion’s curious behaviour looming outside Dany’s room as herself and Jon were having sex. Game of Thrones is available on NOW TV.
