Matt Le Blanc thinks that a Friends reunion wouldn't be the best idea saying "it's better for people to just leave it."
The actor who played Joey Tribbiani for 10 seasons discussed his thoughts on the possibility on an Australian radio show.
“I understand that people really want to see that reunion,” he said, “but that show was about a finite period in those characters lives, between 20 and 30.”
He then added, "To see what those characters are doing now, I think it’s almost a case of that the book is better than the movie. Everyone’s imagination of what they’re doing now is better.”
But he didn't hesitate to add in some humour when it came to giving his verdict on a Friends reunion.
“I don’t think anyone wants to see Joey at his colonoscopy," he continued. "I think it’s better for people to just leave it.”
Since Friends ended in 2004, LeBlanc has gone onto star in the Friends spin-off Joey, Episodes and now hosts Top Gear.
LeBlanc's commentary on a Friends reunion is in reference to a comment Jennifer Aniston had made about its possibility.
Aniston had made her remarks on The Ellen DeGeneres Show when asked about it quipping, "Anything is a possibility, Ellen. Anything! I mean, George Clooney got married."
In the past, co-creator of Friends Marta Kauffman had said that "there will never be a Friends reunion movie."
However, she never said a "show" was out of the question.
It seems that we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
