Your support makes all the difference.Jennifer Aniston has given some hope to those wishing for a Friends revival - thanks to some comments she made on a The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The actress stopped by the daytime show for DeGeneres' birthday, bringing her a custom doorbell and giving details on her new TV series with Reese Witherspoon.
But the conversation didn't stick to her new show - it focused on an old one: Friends.
After performing the clap from the Friends theme song, DeGeneres asked Aniston what everyone has always been wondering about a reunion: "Is it even in the realm of possibility?"
The Emmy award-winning actress played it cool and said, "Anything is a possibility, Ellen. Anything! Right? I mean, George Clooney got married… That's like an anything can happen."
Aniston, of course, isn't the first Friends cast member to be asked about the possibility of a reunion - with shows like Roseanne and Murphy Brown coming back, asking this question doesn't seem to be too extreme.
Recently people started talking about a Friends revival after a fake movie trailer with clips from Cougar Town started circulating the internet.
Speaking with Conan O'Brien, Aniston's cast mate Lisa Kudrow said, "something should be done" about all the interest sparked by the trailer.
"I don't know what," she said. "I don't know what. They're rebooting everything, but I don't know how does that work with Friends, though? That was about people in their, you know, 20s, 30s. The show isn't about people in their 40s, 50s. And if we have the same problems then that's just sad. That's not fun!"
However David Schwimmer was quick to dismiss the possibility on Megyn Kelly Today saying, "I just don't know if I want to see all of us with… like, walkers," he told Kelly. "I doubt it. Thank you for asking, and moving on."
In 2016, co-creator quashed rumours of a revival saying, "There will never be a Friends reunion movie."
However it's a new year and a different time, so perhaps Aniston's words will set a new intention for the show.
