From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Both Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow put their Friends knowledge to the test in a quiz on a US game show.

The actors were participants on Celebrity Name Game which sees contestants guess the names of famous people based on improvised clues.

Cox - who played Monica - acted out the (admittedly very easy) clues while Phoebe actor Kudrow guessed - and it was almost a full house.

Answers Kudrow correctly guessed included Smelly Cat, Ugly Naked Guy and Jennifer Aniston ("We had lunch with her every day!" Cox exclaimed).

The one that confused her, however, came as the 45-second timer reached zero; the clue was David Schwimmer and Cox decided to impersonate her former co-star with Kudrow opting to go for his onscreen counterpart, Ross Geller, instead.

Friends ended its ten-season run in 2004. One-fifth of the show's cast reunited (minus Matthew Perry) for a tribute to NBC sitcom director James Burrows back in February.
