Disney could revive Daredevil and other cancelled Netflix Marvel shows
According to the studio, plans to bring back the show have not yet been discussed but remain a 'possibility'

Your support makes all the difference.Following the cancellation of Netflix’s Marvel shows, many fans have been wondering whether the likes of Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Daredevil will find their way to Disney’s new streaming service.
Many fans believe that Netflix’s decision to axe the shows was directly linked to the launch of Disney+ next year. The streaming service will be home to various exclusive projects relating to the studio’s biggest franchises.
The very question of whether Disney+ will revive them was put to Kevin Mayer, the studio’s “top dealmaker”. Interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter, the chairman of Walt Disney direct-to-consumer said: “They are very high-quality shows. We haven’t yet discussed that, but I would say that’s a possibility.”
Mayer’s answer will no doubt keep alive hopes that these Marvel characters will appear again in some capacity. Upon the news that each show had been cancelled, their respective cast members – including Mike Colter and Deborah Ann Woll – expressed their shock and upset over Netflix’s decision.
Earlier this week, Daredevil star Amy Rutberg poured water on any suggestion that Disney+ had anything to do with the show’s cancellation, putting all the blame on Netflix.
“My contacts at Marvel were very surprised,“ she told Inverse. ”Any of the rumours that it was a Marvel decision are wrong/ I think it was purely a Netflix decision.“
The only Marvel shows that have not been cancelled by Netflix are Jessica Jones and Daredevil spin-off The Punisher, which returns for a second season in January.
The TV shows expected to premiere on Disney+ include The Mandalorian – which will serve as a Star Wars prequel – and spin-offs focused on Marvel characters Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
