Your support makes all the difference.In a fan spot that defies belief, a shared location has been unearthed between Nicolas Winding Refn's crime drama Drive (2011) and the third episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm season 1, "Porno Gil" (2000).
Over on the Curb subreddit, pretty incontrovertible evidence was presented that the film's brutal post-robbery attack scene took place in the very same room that Bob Odenkirk shot a fake porno.

Tempting though it is to imagine that the two shows share a universe and that Larry David will one day bump into Ryan Gosling's driver and question the necessity of his toothpick, the truth is much more straightforward.
Both scenes were shot at the Pink Motel in the San Fernando Valley, a functioning motel that has become an iconic LA landmark, a 50s-inspired complex frequently doubling as the venue for sleazy one night stands and a place for fugitives to lay low.
The spot came on the eve of Curb Your Enthusiasm's long-awaited season 9 return.
The first episode - "Foisted!" - saw Larry (spoilers ahead) have a fatwa issued against him over a new musical he'd written.
It saw cameos from Jimmy Kimmel and Carrie Brownstein, with Bryan Cranston expected to appear in an upcoming episode as Larry's new therapist (note: as it happens, he also featured in Drive).
Curb airs on HBO on Sunday nights in the US and on Sky Atlantic and through NOWTV on Monday nights in the UK.
