Donald Glover discovered he was left out of the cast of Community‘s group chat, during an online cast reunion for the beloved sitcom.

Glover played the dull-witted jock Troy Barnes on the series, which ran from 2009 to 2015 on NBC and Yahoo! Screen. He departed the show midway through its fifth season.

Stars Yvette Nicole Brown, Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash all participated in the reunion, along with the show’s creator, Dan Harmon.

The actors discussed their time on the show, trading anecdotes and making jokes via video link.

At one point, Brown made reference to a “group chat”. In response, Glover said: “There’s a group chat? I’m not in this group chat? After this I was literally going to be like, we should have a group chat!”

Community endures as one of the most acclaimed sitcoms of recent years, in part because of its high-concept “genre” episodes and strong cast.

Glover was not the only cast member to leave the show. Chevy Chase, who played the obnoxious Pierce Hawthorne, parted ways with Community during its fifth season, amid reports of creative differences.
