From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Today we bring you the first teaser for BoJack Horseman season 3, which hits Netflix all in one go on Friday 22 July.
The Will Arnett and Aaron Paul-voiced cartoon has quietly gathered a strong following with its darkly comedic take on depression, and unsurprisingly things still aren’t going great for BoJack when we pick things back up.
‘BoJack is grappling with his legacy while trudging through an increasingly turbulent Oscar campaign for his star-making turn in the Secretariat biopic,’ Netflix explained. 'BoJack struggles with how he'll ultimately be remembered by his fans and what lasting impact he's made on those closest to him.
‘Also, there are lots of silly puns and talking animal jokes and celebrity cameos and all the other stuff that everybody loves about BoJack Horseman. It's a very funny and good season of television. Don't worry.’
Yesterday, Netflix announced a pretty landmark deal that will see it become the exclusive US pay-TV home of the latest Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar films.
