Your support makes all the difference.Jeremy Clarkson may not be on the best terms with the BBC after the infamous ‘fracas’ but that hasn’t stopped them gearing up to release the host's last Top Gear episode.
Even though no release date has yet been confirmed for the one of special, a clip has emerged online that features the trio back to their same old antics.
The clip starts with Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in dinner jackets, with Clarkson reading out the forfeit for losing the challenge: “Oh God. The last to arrive has to do the after dinner speech.” Watch below.
The clip goes on to show the three former host driving through all sorts of terrain, toeing caravans, crashing into each other and Clarkson with a broken windscreen.
Clarkson is set to return to the BBC this Friday alongside Chris Evans for the anniversary special of TFI Friday. It will be the first time fans have seen him on TV since his contract with the BBC was not renewed.
Evans is rumoured to be making a "secret Top Gear film" which all three presenters mocked on Twiter.
BBC bosses are reportedly hoping to re-start the series with different guest presenters each week in a similar format to "post-Angus Deayton Have I Got News For You?", a top source told The Independent earlier this week, but whether Hammond and May will be on board remains in doubt.
"Me and Hammond with a surrogate Jeremy is a non-starter, it just wouldn't work," May said in April. "That would be lame, or 'awks' as young people say. It has to be the three of us. You can't just put a surrogate Jeremy in and expect it to carry on. It would be forced. I don't believe they would be stupid enough to try that."
The duo are rumoured to be “very close” to turning down a multi-million pound deal with the BBC to join Clarkson on a "groundbreaking and incredibly lucrative" Netflix deal - possibly named House of Cars.
Clarkson, Hammond and May are reunited at the moment on the Top Gear Live tour, rebranded as Clarkson, Hammond and May Live to allow it to go ahead.
