Ant and Dec and viewers of Saturday Night Takeaway were left in stitches thanks to the hilarious reaction of a competition winner.

The excited mum, who was sitting down on her sofa at home alongside her family, unexpectedly appeared on the live show via a video link.

After being told by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly that she had won a holiday, the guest hilariously whipped off her wig and shook it about in celebration.

The guest won the prize after her four daughters nominated her to producers for raising them as a single parent as well as overseeing a charity.

Both hosts struggled to get their words out following the moment, with Donnelly saying: “You raised four daughters on your own, and you run a charity providing toys, clothes and books to underprivileged children. Your kids say you’re a mum to everyone and we think you deserve a takeaway getaway."

When Donnelly threw it over to his co-host, the camera then revealed McPartlin to be un hysterics.

The moment cheered many viewers up, including Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, who said: “So excited you pull your wig off!!! I HAVE BEEN THERE.”

Another added: “The wig on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. I’m howling!! Thought Dec was gonna have a hernia he was laughing so hard.”

One person wrote: “If you didn’t see the woman whipping her wig off, on Saturday Night Takeaway after winning a holiday you’ve really missed out.”
