America's Fox network is reportedly looking to bring back its signature drama 24 for a limited series.

Kiefer Sutherland is 'in talks' to reprise his role as Agent Jack Bauer, according to Deadline.

The details are yet to be confirmed, but the report states that Homeland executive producer and former 24 showrunner, Howard Gordon, is behind attempts to reboot the series which ended its 8 season run in 2010.

There is speculation that Gordon would produce the new series through his company Teakwood Lane.

The news comes just days after it was revealed that Anil Kapoor, 53, one of the stars of Slumdog Millionaire, will play Jack Bauer in an Indian remake of 24.
