From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The hit television show Glee will release Glee Live! 3D!, a film version of the team's North American tour, for a two-week run starting August 12.

With performances by 14 cast members and behind-the-scenes footage, the film will be shot live during the summer concerts and directed by Kevin Tancharoen, who shot Fame and Mortal Kombat: Legacy.

Musical numbers to be featured include Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," Journey's anthem "Don't Stop Believin'," Britney Spears' "I'm a Slave 4 U," and Pink's "Raise Your Glass."

The creator of the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning musical show, Ryan Murphy, said the film intends to reach fans unable to catch the tour's limited dates while the show is on hiatus between seasons. "We promise every passionate 'Gleek' a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Glee concert tour starts May 21 in Las Vegas and crosses North America, heading to the UK and Ireland June 22 through July 3, including multiple dates at O2 Arena.

Matthew Morrison, who plays the glee club coach Mr. Schuster, will not be joining his "students" on the road. His solo tour, June 18-July 23, will support the May 10 release of his own self-titled debut album, featuring collaborations with Elton John, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sting.

The latest Glee album, Glee Presents The Warblers, is seventh on the US Amazon pop chart. Members of the Warblers will join the young actors who play Rachel, Finn, Mercedes, Kurt, Artie, Puck, Quinn, and the other singers on some tour dates.
