The battle against the Night King may be over, but the ultimate war for the Iron Throne has just begun.
Episode five will see Daenerys's remaining followers attempt to breach King's Landing and finally end Cersei's reign of terror.
Having released the trailer immediately after episode four, HBO has now released the first set of images from the forthcoming episodes.
Characters who appear in the new images include Tyrion, Grey Worm, Daenerys, Jon Snow, Varys and Cersei.

The latest episode of Game of Thrones, titled “The Last of the Starks”, was described as “an oddly structured and not hugely satisfying episode” by The Independent‘s critic. The fourth episode of the show’s final season also saw Daenerys (Clarke) suffer some devastating losses after arriving in King’s Landing to face Cersei Lannister (Headey).
