Your support makes all the difference.The theme of the party was the 1950s, in celebration of the heritage of the venue, the sunken ballroom at the Royal Festival Hall.
The cocktail lounge was decked out with props, sourced from charity shops and vintage stores, including coat-stands, armchairs and even umbrellas.
Despite a far less decadent feel this year, the party was still buzzing with pop music, provided by DJ Guilty Pleasures.
TV personalities including the television Bafta host Graham Norton were all out in force until the early hours of the morning.
Dawn French and Lenny Henry hung out with The Wire cast, Idris Elba, Clarke Peters and Andre Royo, who were in good spirits, despite losing to Mad Men. Jennifer Saunders also joined them to celebrate receiving an Academy Fellowship with French.
Dinner guests chatted at their tables, before heading downstairs to the ballroom. The only obvious person missing was Anna Maxwell Martin. She won Best Actress for her performance in Channel 4's Poppy Shakespeare but has just had a baby and needed an early night.
