Last Call
IN A RECENT interview, Kiki Dee declared: "My name is the most famous thing about me." In one sense she is right: after her debut album, I'm Kiki Dee, she became the first white British act to be signed to Motown; however, her musical career drooped after the success of the Elton John duet, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart". Since then, she has performed in a number of West End musicals, earning a nomination for an Olivier Award for Blood Brothers. Where Rivers Meet is her first studio album in 12 years. Her national tour ends this month.
