To tie in with ": Contemporary Art of a Continent", an exhibition which opens this week at London's Hayward Gallery, this programme analyses the African art scene. Presenter Hassan Arouni goes to meet artists in Mozambique, Algeria, Zimbabwe and Nigeria.
The Story of the Soaps (Tue 8.30pm R2)
With both the 20th anniversary of EastEnders and the 45th birthday of Coronation Street coming up soon, this new two-parter reflects on our favourite viewing habit: lapping up the soaps. It includes interviews with William Roache (aka, Ken Barlow from Coronation Street) and Claire Sweeney (Brookside's Lindsay Corkhill).
That Mitchell and Webb Sound

Fresh from their critically-lauded C4 sitcom, Peep Show, the comic double act of David Mitchell and Robert Webb return to radio for a further series of their deliciously oddball sketches. This week's opening episode features an affecting charity appeal, called "Free the Mad Bear".
