The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers, attends a dinner to mark the 430th anniversary of the company, at Mansion House, London EC4. Princess Alexandra opens the Julie and Robert Breckman Veterinary Centre of the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals in Danes Road, Romford, Essex; and attends a concert in aid of the Charing Cross Holiday Dialysis Trust at the Royal College of Music, London SW7.
