The Princess Royal, President, British Olympic Association, attends the National Olympic Committee Meeting and Annual General Meeting at the Cafe Royal, London, W1. The Duchess of Gloucester, President, Research into Ageing, attends a workshop on "The Evidence Base for Health Promotion and Older People" at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London WC1. The Duke of Kent visits Leicestershire Scout Headquarters, Winchester Road, Blaby; visits Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Leicester, to open the Media Centre and see the start of play (Leicestershire v Surrey); visits the Motor Industry Research Association, Nuneaton; and attends a joint Coastguard and RNLI Exercise in Kirkcudbrightshire. Princess Alexandra, Deputy President, British Red Cross Society, attends a Charity Gala Evening at the Grosvenor House Art and Antiques Fair, London W1.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Number 7 Company Coldstream Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
