The Princess Royal, President, British Knitting and Clothing Export Council, attends the annual general meeting and luncheon at the Langham Hilton, London W1; and, as Commandant in Chief, FANY (Princess Royal's Volunteer Corps), attends a presentation and exercise by members of the Language Section at Mercury House, Duke of York's Headquarters, London SW3. The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, National Asthma Campaign, opens the International Asthma Congress, Kensington Town Hall, London W8.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion The Duke of Wellington's Regiment mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Irish Guards.
