The Princess Royal, President, British Knitting and Clothing Export Council, visits Nadia Gharbi Designs, Turnham Green Terrace, London W4; as Patron, British Universities Sports Association, attends the Rugby Football Union final at Twickenham, Greater London; and, as Commandant-in-Chief, St John Ambulance Foundation, attends the Grand Prior Reception, Buckingham Palace. The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, visits the offices of the National Missing Persons Helpline, Roebuck House, Upper Richmond Road West, London SW14; and, as Patron, Scottish Opera, attends a Gala Evening at Banqueting House, Whitehall, London SW1. The Duke of Kent, Grand President, Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys, opens the new computer facilities at the Diana, Princess of Wales Children's Hospital School, Birmingham; as Colonel, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, visits the TA Company at the Territorial Army Centre, Sheldon, Birmingham; and receives the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland from Dr Ryszard Stemplowski, the Ambassador of Poland, at the Polish Embassy, Portland Place, London W1.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard, Horse Guards, 11am; No 7 Company Coldstream Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
